Marty Mace moved from Maryland to Mountain Home, Arkansas, in 1997. The beauty of the Ozarks and the friendliness of the people are what drew her here. Art and crafts have always been a big part of her life. As a child, she loved to draw horses. Over the years, she tried ceramics, jewelry making, sculpting, quilting, and stained glass. Nothing held her interest like painting. Although her background is in decorative painting, her work includes original art. Marty is a member of the Society of Decorative Painters, Apple Blossom Decorative Painters, Area Art Club, and Artists of Northwest Arkansas. She enjoys teaching Painting classes in her home studio and fabris painting at a local quilt shop.
