Sally Bowen
After Sally retired, she moved from Tulsa,
Oklahoma to Rogers, Arkansas in 2000. Her
home is surrounded by woods, and sits on a
bluff overlooking Beaver Lake. She is truly
inspired by nature and it shows in her jewelry
designs.
Looking for something new to do after
retirement, she began to make pottery,
which led her to making jewelry. Sally makes
hand built pendants and beads of clay and
uses Raku glazes and various firing
techniques using a Raku kiln. Each necklace
is enhanced with stones, fossils and various
beads.
Sally was once told that her jewelry looked
like an actual archeological find. Her jewelry
definitely has a look of antiquity about it.
Each piece is one of a kind, striking and truly
a conversation piece.
