Courtney Trimble
Nature illustration has always been the main
focus of my work. I have illustrated interpretive
panels for the Arkansas Forest Service,
Arkansas State Parks and the Pineywoods
Native Plant Center in Nacogdoches, Texas.
My preferred medium is colored pencil, but I
also work with pen and ink, watercolor, and
graphite. I make both realistic and more
abstract work, which was inspired from Celtic
knotwork and the paint-by-numbers of my
childhood.
In 2007 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and moved to Fayetteville the following year. I am
currently working on a book about Ozark plants and wildlife that will be a collection of my nature art. My goal is to
promote the incredible beauty and diversity of Ozark nature.
