Timeless Impressions of Nature's Beauty
Artist Statement: The Viewer is the most important part of
my work. I strive to take the viewer's mind and eye to another
place, showing them a beautiful, expressive and painterly
image.
Biography:
Jimmy Leach paints and is inspired by the beauty of nature.
He lives and creates in rural Northeastern Oklahoma.
Leach's education:
includes a B.A. in Art education, from Northeastern State
University in Tahlequah Oklahoma, where he received a full
scholarship, choosing to pursue his passion for creating art.
While attending NSU Jimmy won their annual Art Dept.
portfolio competition the last three years he attended,
1989-91.
Galleries:
Currently 4 galleries represent Leach. He has had over 25
solo shows, and has participated in numerous group shows
and competitions.
Collections: Jimmy Leach's works can be found in many
private collections throughout the USA., as well as four
foreign countries. His work is in the public collections of Saint
Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. The Hot Springs
Convention Center, The South Arkansas Art Center, El
Dorado AR. The Bank of Fayetteville, Fayetteville AR. And
St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. AR.

Gathering of Artists, Hot Springs Arkansas, vol.1, as well as
many local newspaper articles.
