Jan Ironside
Jan Ironside's studio is located on the top floor of a 108-year-old house in the historic district of Rogers, Arkansas. There is no place she would rather spend her days and nothing she would rather be doing than painting. The geraniums are in her kitchen window, the spring tulips are in her grandmother's jar, and there are sunflowers in the neighbor's garden. Inspiration for her colorful floral works can be found everywhere!

According to Jan, "It is the paint that controls the creation. Creamy butter and cupcake icing come to mind to describe the feel of the oil paint on the palette knife." Because of this, Jan's impasto paintings have bright colors and a reach-out-and-touch texture. For more information about Jan's work, visit:
