Arkansas Craft Guild and Gallery
The Arkansas Craft Guild and Gallery
104 E. Main Street,
Mountain View, Arkansas
The Arkansas Craft Guild was established in 1962 as the Ozark Foothills Handicraft Guild in Stone County to
improve the economy of this rural area by encouraging, promoting and marketing traditional crafts produced by local
artisans. The mission of the Guild has remained essentially the same as the organization has expanded statewide
and encompassed contemporary art and crafts as well as two-dimensional fine art. For fifty years, Guild members'
work has been juried on the basis of quality, design, and fine craftsmanship.
The Arkansas Craft Gallery is the retail showroom for the traditional and contemporary art and crafts produced by
members of the Arkansas Craft Guild.

The Arkansas Craft Guild's Annual Christmas Showcase
Each year on the first weekend of December, the members of the Arkansas Craft Guild and their juried guests fill the
Governors Hall in the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, with the best art and crafts
in the state. These talented artists offer a great selection of unique traditional and contemporary crafts as well as
two-dimensional fine art in all media. This show is holiday shopping at its best!!
The Guild sponsors two outdoor juried art and craft shows in Mountain View, Arkansas. The Artisans Market on the
Square is held in conjunction with the Arkansas Folk Festival in April and the BeanFest and Outhouse Race in
October.
