Displaced by Hurricane Katrina four years ago, my husband Jim
and I looked for a new home. Taking into consideration fishing
and the proximity to our seven children - Mountain View Arkansas
was a natural fit with great fishing and GREAT people.
My interest in glass started 14 years ago when I wanted to make a
stained glass totem pole. After lessons and much practice, the
totem pole became a reality and I was hooked on glass. The four
foot high totem pole is on display in my studio.
Photography, my other passion, is a 40 year obsession. I use it in
conjunction with glass pattern making and Photo Art. With nature's
never ending wonders here in the Ozarks, subject matter is just a
click away. For more information on Gwen's work, visit her
